We’re working on a plan to design and develop a series of exercise classes especially for cancer patients.

Our thoughts are that Saturday mornings at around 10.30 would be the best time. We’re also thinking of holding the classes outside as a great way of connecting with nature and giving a mindful experience too. We may look for a pavilion to use as an alternative if the weather is likely to be bad.

Although the long term goal will be for participants to achieve a high intensity workout, the pace and complexity of the exercises and stretches will be tailored to suit mixed abilities, allowing each individual to build up exercise capability over a period of months. These exercises will also be suitable to do on your own, so you can turn exercising into a daily habit and lifestyle choice. Thus turning on your own immune system, flooding the body with good hormones and giving yourself the very best chance of long term health and wellbeing.
